Then what about the worm? The early worms gets eaten? (Maybe the late ones die anyway under the feet of little school children stampeding during recess)
Okay, worm not too smart a creature, so I guess we dont have to ponder about it too much.
What about mice? Mice are smarter than worms. They have a brain and its pretty well developed. Possibly more than that of a bird. After all, no ones calls a dimwit mice brain but its always bird brain.
Okay, so we go back to the slightly higher creatures here.
Does the saying still holds true? Being first is always the best?
Somehow, I don't think so. The picture should have suggested a sufficent example.
The early bird may get the worm, but its always the second mouse that gets the cheese.
