Hair is GOOD!!!!

I hate getting my hair cut.

I like my long floppy and messy hair that covers most of my forehead, eyes and ears, though most of the people around me screams at me to get my hair cut.

Finally decided to follow their advice. Saw my Venice trip photos from last year and decided that the long and floppy mop head hair was good for grabbing when frustrated in the lab, it looked terrible on the photos. Was getting more vain this year and decided that the Germany photos this time will feature a well groomed me (contact lenses and sunglasses included in the poser attempt)

Did a £8 haircut at one of the high tech hair cut thingies that have sprung up from Japan. They have this little kiosk near platform one in Euston main line station and you just put a tenner into this slot in the machine, and it returns you a 2 pound coin and gives you a ticket with estimated time of wait. When your turn comes, someone will take you ticket and then proceed to give you a haircut. Very much like the 10 dollars 10 min hair cut in Bishan Junction 8, but they seem to be in no rush here. Seemed to take forever to cut my hair.

Some time later, I was the proud owner of a funky “out of bed“ messed up crop look, thanks to some funny thingie that he added to my hair. Was not mouse, was not gel, was not clay, was not wax, but I vaguely remember that it has a food like name. Anyways, was really pleased with myself for a bit until I hit the streets.

The lack of hair really hurts.

My ears and head was exposed to the biting wind, and I was not used to this. Its like something is stinging you on the head and ears all at the same time.
(it got a lot worse in Germany when it was sub zero and the gales were blowing, but that will come in another entry when I get the photos sorted)

Morale of the story, No point cutting hair to look good. Long floppy mop head has its practical uses……

Figure it out yourself!

Was on a friend's car coming down from Collingdale and passing through Golders Green when we came across a BMW 5 series being driven by a bearded middle eastern-looking chap. Dint seem too wrong until we realised that he was driving in a very Jewish area with the following number plate!

I am suprised that DVLA would still allow a number plate of 911 and PLA, considering the implications of both the number and the PLA bit.....

Its Christmas Time....

I must be really tired out. Have not realised that Christmas was arriving. Is it me only, or does it seem that there seems to be little Christmas atmosphere in London this December?

And so, this leads to the fact that for once, I have forgotten to send Christmas cards this year. Usually, I end up sending out something like 20 odd cards at least, but this time I think its too late and hence the excuse. I have been working too hard to realise that Christmas was catching up and did not manage to get my Christmas cards on time.

Therefore, to all those friends out there that are thinking of sending me Christmas cards, that usually get Christmas cards from me and those that would like to think I will send them Christmas cards, here is my e-card with a photo taken by non-other than myself!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
